
The “Booch Bootcamp”: (30 min. Or 60 min)
This is a workout that combines circuit training, weight-lifting (3 lb.- 10 lb. weights recommended), and cardio bursts. Intimidated by yoga? No fear! This workout does incorporate squats, lunges and some warrior poses, but anyone can handle the workout (yogi or not)
MY STORY.
As the “founder” of Soulful Ray, I thought I should tell you a bit about myself. From a very young age, I always had my hands in something creative. I had a makeshift craft room in my basement so I could tackle a scrapbook, shadow box, painted wood frame, or needlepoint at any given moment. So, that’s where the jewelry-making component of Soulful Ray stems from. As for the watercolor prints- it started with a beginners painting class at the local rec center-reluctantly. But the hobby stemmed into a daily ritual that kept me sane after a day of teaching.. which leads me to the next realm of my life- teacher. The last eight years, I have spent my days with energetic, innovative 12 year olds, and I believe that has given me the courage and patience to start this business. Yoga began as an added hour of stretching in a regimented exercise routine, but it grew into something much more impactful than I ever thought possible. It became my solace- my sanctuary. I am fully indebted to the practice and the instructors who have served as mentors along the way. Completing my 200- Hours Yoga Teacher Training from Zen Yoga Garage in 2016, gave me the “kick-start” I needed to take my teaching background and bring it to life in a different realm.
